AIKI-JUJITSU

What Aiki-Jujitsu means to Absolute Martial Arts

Aiki-Jujitsu is a grappling system that incorporates standing, as well as ground grappling. This style studies joint locks, balance in motion, throws, takedowns, chokes, submissions, leverage, timing, and weight distribution.
The concepts of this style are simple, though they can take a lifetime to master.

Joint locks and joint manipulations are chained together in a flow of motion that keeps the person in discomfort and encourages them to move in the direction you want them to go. Our system utilizes these concepts from the very beginning of training, as well as merging in concepts from other styles. We believe this combination allows the student to become proficient much sooner at defending themselves.

The better the student's skill set in Aiki-Jujitsu, the better all other aspects of the system will be, from the transfer of weight into a strike to the ability to defend or reverse a takedown or throw.
